1/ The reason extreme income inequality is so viscerally repulsive to me is because I’m old enough to remember the time - before 1980 - when it wasn’t this way. It all started with the Reagan tax cuts and Reaganomics in 1980.

2/ Example: Walmart corporation made $16.4B in profits in 2011 yet pays its employees minimum wage. The family has $100B, more than bottom 40% of all Americans. Unjust economic policies made this possible, and no one no one no one should be okay with it. #TaxTheRich

The problem with taxing the rich is that the taxes just go to more bombs or gender studies programs in Pakistan or whatever lobbyist got the job done.

Unfortunately, both parties are extremely corrupt and the injustice will continue. We have had the Dems control all houses n they NEVER did anything to eliminate income n racial inequality. We need a general strike NOW! We need a third party NOW!

And what's even worse corporations like walmart shift responsibility for their employees to TAXPAYERS. Many of their underpaid workers had to use govt programs like food stamps, medicaid, section 8 etc because they don't earn enough. This is Corporate welfare really

So if you raise wages exponentially expect to see an increase in self-serve kiosks. The wages are not yet that high and these kiosks have already eliminated many jobs. Your helping people to be unemployed.

There are 550 billionaires in U.S. with a net worth of $2.5 trillion. If 100% of that was taken it would run the government for less than 7 months. Less government & REAL free markets make individuals more prosperous.

What do you classify as rich? Scrolling thru your Instagram and your house seems much nicer than mine. Is that because you're rich? Why don't you spread that wealth to the homeless and live in an average house?

ADOS justice claim is more comprehensive and urgent as the economic damage is an existential threat.

Further more people accept those wages. And Wal-Mart does not pay minimum wage. They pay over that. I had worked there years ago. Have you ever worked there? I have. The problem is not enough competitors. As always. Minimum wage mandates destroy jobs and most kill small business.
