1/ The new congressional session begins today. Re-electing Pelosi will say to the country that it’s pretty much going to be business as usual, which to me is very sad. What a lost opportunity to burst out of the gate post-Trump with something new.

But the sentiment is correct. The majority is thin, and progressive votes against Pelosi could put McCarthy in as speaker. It would sort of be like wasting a vote for president on you when Biden needed every vote he could get.
