1/ The new congressional session begins today. Re-electing Pelosi will say to the country that it’s pretty much going to be business as usual, which to me is very sad. What a lost opportunity to burst out of the gate post-Trump with something new.

2/ New member progressive @MondaireJones on his plan to back Pelosi: “The question is: “Are you going to empower the Republican leader, Kevin McCarthy, to which the answer is no.” Wow, they get to them fast don’t they? A line straight from a PR ad campaign if there ever was one.

Unfortunately both teams (red or blue - because CHOICE) fight anything for the people. Privatize the profits, socialize the costs; who pays for recycling, carbon tax, tax loopholes galore, offshore banks (regular tax holidays), job losses, medical bills, & war (not corporations).

It is sad and this is in lockstep with the dems losing the house in ‘22. That’s what they want obviously. To appease their donors with the “there’s nothing we can do” shield of gop controlled evil. I’m gonna run for the house under the slogan “feckless opposition “

The whole point of Trump was to whitewash the system that accidentally put him on top, now they have to find a new scapegoat... probably just reuse an old one.

Biden said “nothing will fundamentally change” and he meant it, during a time when we need drastic change

This is the difference between GOP and Dems. Dems reward their losers. They keep them in power or give them MSNBC contracts to tell other ppl how to win on TV. Republicans get rid of their losers. They are gone from the scene altogether once not useful
