1/ The new congressional session begins today. Re-electing Pelosi will say to the country that it’s pretty much going to be business as usual, which to me is very sad. What a lost opportunity to burst out of the gate post-Trump with something new.

2/ New member progressive @MondaireJones on his plan to back Pelosi: “The question is: “Are you going to empower the Republican leader, Kevin McCarthy, to which the answer is no.” Wow, they get to them fast don’t they? A line straight from a PR ad campaign if there ever was one.

I suggest you educate yourself on Madam Speaker Pelosi. Maybe that’s not who you or many want right not but that’s who we need. We need her political wisdom and experience.

Can’t believe she let unemployment lapse for millions in July!

We lost the Presidential election; getting rid of Pelosi will not fix that. In fact, you are advocating that the House move to the right because Pelosi is the best Speaker we can get right now, especially for healthcare. I really like your work, but you are wrong on this one.

Pelosi plays the game for herself, not the people. She should have been long gone.

Politicians fool people into accepting the status quo. They literally cause people to suffer so that the masses are happy get back normal. They people who want change things as radicals and unsafe.

She literally did everything Trump wanted yet neolibs praise her for clapping. Nancy calls herself a Dem but she’s really GOP.

The country is collapsing and their message is, it's going to keep collapsing and we don't care what you little people want. We are the politicians and we are above you and can do what we want. #PitchforksAndGuillotines

I want believe that this strategy of taking over the Democratic Party can work—but the act of re-electing an oligarch who is one of our biggest road blocks to achieving Medicare for All without so much as even demanding a floor vote & hearings?! We’re out of cash! #ForceTheVote
