In my opinion we could use a psychological shift inside a lot of progressive minds. Stop fighting each other. Stop saying everything the Democrats are doing is bad - because it’s not. Start standing up for what we ourselves believe in, without rancor. Not everyone has to agree.

Yes! Unfiltered anger/rage brings out the worst in us: Attacks over technicalities/differences of opinion, publicly humiliating representatives, using disrespectful language... I understand anger, hurt, desperation over injustice. But we are part of the problem if we pile on!

Marianne I could not agree with you more. The rancor & divisiveness going on among Democrats is going to throw us right back into a Republican administration if we don’t come together. PATIENCE! Give the incoming administration a chance & Send Light to Georgia

Robert McAfee Brown’s “Saying Yes and Saying No: On Rendering to God and Caesar” is an excellent theological exploration of this challenge. I highly recommend it. goodreads.com/book/show/9757…

@marwilliamson honestly, the democrats have shown only to want to appease the masses performatively while literally shifting wealth to corporations and wall street. Please tell me how to ignore this and cheer for the performative facades?

Biden and the Dems are mostly trash. Recent events underscore this.

I believe that what is required is a new political Party. The rancor is coming from chumps who insist I need to clap louder for Democrats. Sorry, but these people don't get to spend 9 months telling me to shut up and go away and then get shocked and shaken when I do just that.

Wait...this is asking for the same abusive relationship the Dems have with the Reps...where the Reps behave how ever they want and the Dems try everything to reach out and pacify... Your asking the exact same dynamic with the democrat establishment...

I would agree with that statement if Democrats weren't prone to misrepresenting their intentions and frequent "bait and switch" in favor of maintaining, enabling Reaganism.
