Anger is like the white sugar of political activism; it gives you an adrenaline high but then you’ll crash. What we need is nourishment for the long-haul: laughter at the ridiculousness of it all and love for the possibilities that could be.

How does one get past the anger, @marwilliamson? I am so pissed.

Being too angry can lead you to pushing away the wrong people

What’s the point of being angry if you can’t channel it properly? If we did, there would be no polarization.

You really are a beautiful person✨♥️✨🔮 That said, nourishment, laughter and love must be accompanied by tenacity, fearlessness and conviction to enact real change.

Personally, I admire angry people. It means they give a shit. They care deeply about injustice. Bernie is angry. He has been angry all his life. Good. I like Bernie because I am angry too. Anger is a very good thing. Laughing at injustice is wrong. Nothing to laugh about.

Do you have any input why all the anger in the streets seems to have totally stopped after the November election?

I have a healthy balance of both anger and humor of it all.
