Neither major political party is an adequate container for energies seeking to emerge now. Corrupted by corporate money’s control, neither sets an agenda for a seriously sustainable future. Their chokehold on our political system diminishes our prospects for a survivable century.

It seems we need ranked choice voting. And to get that I suspect we need to work within the current system.

Right. As long as big money has a say in politics there will not be a equal playing field. America now is not a democracy but in many ways a plutocracy. It's big/corrupt money out or the rise of a third party will be unavoidable and a must to get out of this mess.

Americans spent $14,000,000,000 on the 2020 elections. Thats abhorrent and obscene. I believe we need govt funded elections so that -anyone who wants to run can run -we remove special special interest money -elected official actually legislate. What are your thoughts on this?
