Interesting who’s considered a “realistic candidate.” Apparently only those whose careers have been ensconced in a system that drove us into the ditch should be considered “qualified” to lead us out of it. Or a “business-man,” which amounts to the same thing.

That's very true. Seems like name recognition is the main driving factor in most cases, which is...not a great system.
