Republicans say they don't want to release the $2k stimulus check because the money might go to "someone who doesn't need it?" Interesting perspective, given that 83 per cent of the 2017 $2T tax cut went to people who didn't need it.

more like 95% of it - Corporations used the tax cut to do stock buy backs, inflate the price of their stock and give out large bonuses to executives. Little was invested in R&D, equipment and the work force

The only time they're concerned about rich people getting too much is when they want to deny poor and working class people something they desperately need. This attitude is bipartisan too. Just look at the reaction Dems had to making public colleges snd universities tuition free.
