Republicans say they don't want to release the $2k stimulus check because the money might go to "someone who doesn't need it?" Interesting perspective, given that 83 per cent of the 2017 $2T tax cut went to people who didn't need it.

Correct, it went to people who are the job creators in this Country. Besides, half of American tax payers pay zero federal income tax. I'm pushing the wagon, while many others are riding.

Very disapointed in the first bill being passed with so much money going to pork project...so ridiculous that we have to have bills associated with other stuff...why isn't this the headline!

@SenSanders normally disagree with you and your politics, but this $600 payment is the biggest bunch of bullshit i've ever seen. $600 to the people but $600,000,000,000 other countries and special interests. wtf is going on?? I know 2020 is a fucked up year but Jesus....smh

It’s an absurd logic. Only wealthy people with 100% wealthy friends can think this way. Their bubble and circumstance is so thick, anything else is inconceivable.

Republicans don’t want to send a $2,000 stimulus check to struggling Americans yet... “83 percent of the 2017 $2T tax cut went to people who didn’t need it.” Marianne Williamson

When Republicans object to money going to "people who don't need it", what they really mean is they object to money going to people who do.
