Perhaps the worst part of this is that even a one time $2000 payment is itself a fraction of what other nations are providing it’s people as a way to make it through the pandemic. Without monthly payments, millions will still barely survive...or not.

$2000 checks is a matter of life and death for millions of Americans. Call your Senator at (202) 224-3121 and demand the Senate vote NOW on the bipartisan $2,000 direct payment legislation passed by the House of Representatives.

And lets not forget that them letting fed UI lapse for 4 months has left people thousands in the hole on rent. This $2k doesn't even cover that gap, yet alone assist in going forward. I don't think enough emphasis is being placed on that screwup.
