Now even Perdue and Loeffler are supporting the $2000 stimulus because they see it’s what voters want. If the Democratic Party had stood loud and proud for it starting in March, Democrats would easily be controlling both House and Senate today.

That is not their goal. Their goal is to make sure the Republicans remain a viable party.

Perdue and Loeffler don't give a damn. This is a "kissing babies for votes" move in attempt to save their election chances, and after Jan 5th, they'll go back to their true ways. If they truly cared, they would have been on record long before today in support.

They were afraid of alienating donors (& thus the corporate media) with that type of rhetoric. The media are still kingmakers if they're clever. Biden went from 4th-5th to 1st when they decided it was time.

They're too busy finding ways to keep us bogged down in Afghanistan.
They don’t support $2000. Mitch is letting them pretend to support it while he never brings it to a floor vote. This way it looks good for them with voters. Geez you have no political sense at all.

This is so remarkably dumb.

But I don't understand. Even a Republican politician would have to know OF COURSE your voters want $2000 as opposed to $600!! What is going on here??

"voters" want more money..really??, my kids want more toys, I want exotic sports cars, and luxury condos on the beach..can the gov't give everyone that too? Just print the cash and watch the crash in a few years!!
