The presidential nominee isn't a party leader? I have this conversation with people constantly and I'm always amazed at how little people understand. It doesn't matter what passes or doesn't pass. It's about optics. Make Mitch look bad to the public.

Literally pick any month from this year and search "$2000 stimulus check" There were articles being written about the Democratic efforts pretty much every week for the entire pandemic
