You cannot just leave the past without being at peace with it. And peace happnes with recognition of sins and righting past wrongs. Abscent that there is not future without the past.

Can't leave it behind if we want to learn from it. Although, none of that is going on... 😶

Progressives can control the House of Representatives for the next two years if they have the courage. 👇 That means they’re ultimately responsible for every piece of legislation that comes out of the house.
Compton Jay raises an great point. Why aren't progressives using tea party tactics to control legislation? Not only can the Squad #ForceTheVote for #M4All but they can control the House of Representatives Joe Biden's entire first term. @Populist_Voice @ComptonMadeMe

Leaning on antiquated methods and old preconceived notions will only lead to stagnation and mediocrity. Without innovation and evolution, American society will crumble on itself. Hell, you aren’t even able to get basic human rights... The US is a falling empire.

We can’t move forward if we don’t realize what happened in the past🤗

We need to learn from the past though and most of us haven’t, especially journalists.
Isn’t this just confirming delusion and narcissism? This is childish. It’s not leadership.

Just like on our personal inner journeys, we have to face the wounds of the past Marianne. We must do our political “shadow work” in the body politic. If we do not address the wounds of the past, we will simply recreate similar scenarios in the future until the pain is addressed.

Just like on our personal journeys, there are no spiritual bypasses. The only way to ascend is to vulnerably and honestly go through the pain of the past and reparent (or in the political world, re-policy) in a way that is grounded in love and justice and equality.
