All this talk “But who would replace her” seems ridiculous. If Nancy resigned, I have no doubt people would step up to run for the position.

I'm sorry Marianne I have to disagree with you.Nancy Pelosi has been one of the fiercest woman(since the only 1) Speaker of the House she has fought for a lot for this country, stood up to that heinous bully djt. Not sure how many women could have done that with much composure.

I read last time that @WhipClyburn was thinking about it but he is 80 years old. I have no doubt someone will step up as well. I just don't want it to be "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss"!

435 reps. We'll be able to find one of 434 that could replace her. This is a non-question.

People would step up to run for the position, it’s Congress... most people there have thought they could do better since the day they swore an oath. But could anyone match Pelosi’s effectiveness and ability to lead? I don’t think so. Not yet.

I just know that if you knew what @jimmy_dore has been saying about AOC and the squad, calling them evil and telling people there is no point in voting for them you would step up and say, regardless of whether it’s a good plan or not, we have to avoid divisive rhetoric.
