All this talk “But who would replace her” seems ridiculous. If Nancy resigned, I have no doubt people would step up to run for the position.

Oh Lord you're doing the "anybody ,but Hillary" thought process that cost us 4 years and over 330,000+ lives.

It doesn't even matter. no progress is possible while she sits in that position and wields all the power she has tied to herself alone. replace her with anyone who doesn't have that power and all manner of new things are possible regardless of who replaces her.

Why are people more concerned about who is going to replace Nancy Pelosi and not who is going to replace the cashier who bagged their groceries yesterday but committed suicide this morning cuz she's only getting $600 instead of $2k?!?

If Democrats lose even one more seat in 22, Pelosi loses Speaker. If they lose between 1-4 seats in 22, the party should be looking for a more moderate leader possibly even a Blue Dog Rep. - Stephanie Murphy (Fla) would be a very smart choice although she was 1st elected in 2017

If the fate of the Democrats in Congress depends on a single person, an octogenarian mind you, we are all doomed. A responsible leader would have groomed one ore more viable successors by now. It is indeed inconceivable that Pelosi cannot be replaced.

And if there was no one in line for succession, or no one being groomed for job, that would be a fatal flaw on the part of DNC management.

The GOP have had how many leaders in the House during Pelisi's time? Anyone who actually watches what goes on knows Pelosi is an impediment. This year: expanded military$ and prez powers, delayed relief bill then pittan¢e to ppl.
