Seniority has zero weight. The decision is made in caucus, caucus could decide it should be a junior member who needs a bigger profile, if they want to.

I’m here with you Sis. You notice how she pulled the two new Black congress- woman - and congress man into it? Of course we want what’s due us, but we are not willing to follow her raggedy ass strategy. Speaker Pelosi held us together as a party. And Biden wants her as Speaker.

I think @RepJeffries would be in the run before anyone on your list, you think you can control. Let’s roll . Try it. We are fine with Speaker Pelosi. Go right a book. I think these representatives have a lot of priorities to focus on, that are urgent, and not in-fighting.

I’m not sure we can just pick anyone. I believe there’s some seniority involved. I like porter but Barbara Lee has some seniority.

Hey M — replacing her with whom? I have seen a few calls to replace her by “progressives”, but no one has a viable candidate that is battle tested and can get stuff done.
