Child abuse is an issue politicians never dare to address. Pandemic has made it much worse, but it is always there, the not so silent killer.

Can we get out of race issue here? People are hurting regardless of race. I see these posts that are racially motivated and it’s not okay. We are all suffering!

Even if they’re not losing their temper and raging, children sense when something is off with a parent. An unstable environment that lacks emotional, physical and financial security is transparent and completely disorienting for any child, let alone highly sensitive ones.

People are so focused on financial strain that we all forget the power of emotional and mental trauma. The ripples spread far and fast, and will last lifetimes.

What are you talking about? What is behind this narrative that children are generally unsafe in their own homes with their own parents?

Its almost as if longterm lockdowns have severe consequences on society. How much death and despair are tyrant politicians going to impart on the world before all the enablers reject them? Time to let humans live again

It’s the most awful place to be for a child. Totally destabilizing. We need to teach kids in school what healthy relationships are made of so that all forms of intimate partner abuse ceases and people go on to have healthy relationships based on love and mutual respect as adults.

Temper? Is that the word you want to use here? If so, then you are not understanding what is going on. Try unrelenting fear that they aren't going to make it. That they or their kids may die of disease or starvation. That they have nothing coming in and may lose everything.
