If they limited the bill strictly to the benefits, and did not put 5,000 pages of pork in it, then Trump probably would have signed it immediately.
I wonder why there is only a focus on people that are potentially losing benefits - when there are so many people that never even qualified for benefits. Every media outlet says the same/but anyone who has received benefits until now is far better off than if you didn't qualify.

Will be retroactive once bill signed next week.
This man is TRULY a SOCIOPATH
We have a sociopath as a President. The Republicans will never stand up to him. They can rely on the Fox echo system to LIE for them. They probably figure it would be good for the election in Georgia.Get enough people believing it’s the Democrats fault. It will work.
Weren’t you tweeting the other day about Kanye West and Tom Brady taking PPE in that Bill? Now you want him to sign that? How about Congress drafts a one page relief bill for Americans, no pork in it????
And he better not sign it if it only provides $600.00.

You want him to sign that thing???
Why are we giving millions of dollars to other countries instead of helping US businesses + citizens. That bill has SO many terrible aspects to it unrelated to Covid that are unacceptable. Why aren’t you questioning anything?
