It's actually the Roman holiday of Saturnalia we're celebrating, and since we pretty much are ancient Rome in all its narcissistic decadence at this point, it really does fit. 🤷‍♂️

This is exactly why the founding fathers were adamant about the separation of church and state. These tentacles of faux "Christianity" dressed up in greed having any place in or stranglehold on our government and its policies is antithetical to who we are supposed to be.
