We have a Parliament. Basically you vote party & party's leader becomes chancellor. 7 parties in the Bundestag from far left to sadly the far right. Does ensure debate, push & pull & interesting coalitions. Elections are short & publicly funded. US must get money out of politics.

This administration has been so distracting that all of life now seems like a reality show. It has been so damaging to the American psyche.

Well, the United States operates like an oligarchy pretending to be a democracy. The decades of pretending is taking America no where but the fascism needed to uphold oligarchy. Maybe let that sink in.

Americans should withhold from paying federal tax for 5 years to make up for taxpayers dollars that have been irresponsibly used, abused & stolen by this administration.

In all fairness, during the past four years we have lost our status as an advanced democracy. At best we have become a kakistocracy. In reality we have slid dangerously close to an authoritarian dictatorship.
