The United States is the only advanced democracy not to give direct and substantial cash relief to its citizens during this pandemic. Perhaps just let that sink in.😞

Perhaps the word advanced should be stricken. We established one of the first of the modern democracies, not the most advanced. Other countries took our example nd tweaked it for the better.
