Astrology is not respected because as time has gone on we’ve realized the planets have no effect on our behavior and the time of year we’re born has no discernible impact on our personality traits. It’s the same reason we don’t study phrenology anymore. It’s a pseudoscience.

I respectfully disagree, we know the four primary forces of nature: strong, weak, electromagnetic, and gravitational have no bearing on the characteristics off humans or events that take place which is for all intents and purposes what astrology claims.
