The current political mindset runs counter to the worldview that will lead us into a more sustainable future. It treats symptoms but doesn’t name cause, ensuring that even when symptoms are dealt with they’ll in time morph into other forms. We need a new political enlightenment.

We need to embrace the future that we want & work back from there. The challenge is that a genuinely sustainable future will fundamentally disrupt the current economic mindset that dominates our policy-making. But any politician who says so is nullified by the current system.

Until people wake up to that nothing will change. The political media industrial complex is extraordinarily adapt at silencing who it wants silenced and people are so easily duped, having been mentally trained to take the mind-deadening drug the media dispenses on a regular basis

If there were only one thing people could do to make the change, what would it be @marwilliamson? My recommendation is to give up all animal and dairy. The harm to the planet, environment and animals is horrendous and changing that one thing can make an incredible difference
