Think about the size of BLM protests all over the country. Then compare their influence on legislation compared to influence of a few phone calls & clinking champagne glasses with military defense contractors. We’ll never get this country back til we get the money out of politics

Campaign finance reform is probably the only thing you could get 38 States to agree on. States must take action, don't wait on Congress.

But unfortunately it’s not. What we need is a Constitutional Amendment establishing public funding for federal campaigns. But that would take a constitutional convention; most statehouses are Republican & would not support calling the Convention. That’s why #StateElectionsMatter

Conservative Supreme Court justices gave us the Citizens United decision, and that’s what opened the door to unlimited spending on campaigns. And if the GOP will people listen to the people then why won’t they spend any money on them?
