Think about the size of BLM protests all over the country. Then compare their influence on legislation compared to influence of a few phone calls & clinking champagne glasses with military defense contractors. We’ll never get this country back til we get the money out of politics

Money in politics shapes everything wrong with this system and it’s enablers/oppressors. It’s a big reason why we got Biden over Bernie.

The country was meant to promote a “People over Politics” nationalism but global economic control lead to more power in corporate needs than the people.
OMG, Marianne Williamson is making sense! What has happened?

We’ll never get this country back until the oligarchy and their politicians are dragged out into the streets.

Wouldn't those with capital still find the means to influence elections even with standard "money put of politics" methods? Seems like the need, as I know you're well read in, alternative systems for better distribution of capital.
Why do you keep saying back? Its always been a criminal cartel run by white supremacist christofascist genocidal maniacs. When did we (a multi racial coalition) e er have it? Only thing US has is a massive propaganda complex which has completely manufactured false history.

Billions in damages, dramatic rise in violent crimes and destruction of local business community that will harm the millions of residents in those cities for decades amounting to a cost we can’t even tabulate yet... Those *protests* will prove more influential than you think.
