The House Democrats need a new leadership team. They'll have 100 days to convince the American people that they're really, this time, offering something new and different. That won't happen with the same people doing the same talking in the same way. #SheShouldResign

You are right Marianne, and I agree with Jimmy Dore. The progressive Democrats need to force the vote on Medicare for all. Only fifteen of them can object to Pelosi being speaker. Nancy Pelosi isn't going to change which is unfortunate.

To be fair: since they have absolutely no interest in actually offering the American people something new, different (or even remotely useful to your average citizen) - it really is hard for them to be convincing.

If a professional coach coached a team that finished last 8 straight years do you think they would have a job? I don’t think so,why is Pelosi still have a job? #PelosiResign

Yes. I hate to say it, but she is partly to blame for all this. We cannot do things the same way they’ve always been done. The game has changed even though some of the players are the same. We have to get creative and adjust to this new environment. She’s not up to the task.

I point out this tweet by Ms. Williamson to my über-realistic, hard-headed leftie pals, as an example why I think it's mistaken to dismiss her out of hand as some sort of cosmic flake...&, more broadly, a mistake to get too sniffy with 99% people who're into spiritual matters.

Ripping apart Dems when republicans are to blame. More of a problem than a solution.

One way or another, she’s going down. The question is: are we willing to let her take the party down with her? 2022 midterms will be brutal if she stays, mark my words.
