The more I read about the contents of the bill, the clearer it is that it is not really a “Covid relief” bill at all. That phrase is simply used as cover for the continuation of a massive power grab by those whose greed caused so much of the problem to begin with.

These people represent the Capitalist Class against the Working Class. Getting rid of them will not change the incentive structure or the system of values that led to their rise to power. This farce will just repeat itself until such time as we have a new social system.

That’s where you and I disagree a bit. There is greed and corruption in socialist societies too, you know. Capitalism and socialism both have their upside and human beings have our downside.

One problem,human nature is actually very malleable directly from the environment per the latest in neurology. It means, build a better environment and human behavior changes. Dismantle all the status structures via money in all "isms" changes human consciousness, not your books.

It means a lot that you took the time to respond, thank you! Sure there is greed and corruption because psychologically and morally we all start from the same place but society either rewards and compels that corruption or ideally provides us with a ladder to grow and evolve.
