The more I read about the contents of the bill, the clearer it is that it is not really a “Covid relief” bill at all. That phrase is simply used as cover for the continuation of a massive power grab by those whose greed caused so much of the problem to begin with.

How is that even ethical? That’s not governing, it’s something else.
This is how they pushed the Patriot Act through as well.

Yes, and 2 congresswomen said no. They could not vote on a bill that they did not know was in it. Pretty scary to think the rest of them voted irresponsibly. God help us.
