The more I read about the contents of the bill, the clearer it is that it is not really a “Covid relief” bill at all. That phrase is simply used as cover for the continuation of a massive power grab by those whose greed caused so much of the problem to begin with.

Congress is playing with fire. They and the incoming Biden Administration either know this and are trying to push the people to #RiseUp or are frighteningly naive and blind to history. #FireCongress #ReplacePelosi #Medicare4All

It's a sad day for money addicts when they have to part with money for the poors and unemployed

You do know the provision that would have given corporations immunity from being sued should their negligence result in the deaths of their employees was removed, I hope. Would you rather have had more money with that provision left intact?

None of the bills been strictly about Covid. They pack all their croney money in the bills for the donor class. Both parties are culpable. Sickening.

They have to push all this crap together because it is close to impossible to pass it on it's own. But yes our system is broken

It's not strictly a covid relief bill. It's also a government funding bill. I wish our broadcast media did a better job of explaining things.
