The more I read about the contents of the bill, the clearer it is that it is not really a “Covid relief” bill at all. That phrase is simply used as cover for the continuation of a massive power grab by those whose greed caused so much of the problem to begin with.

Even the formula for the stimulus is insidious...it's as if it was designed to provoke division within the lower classes. It should have been based upon region, reflecting average housing costs, with guidelines similar to those used for cash assistance and housing vouchers.

A bill that offers only $600 to struggling Americans, but 500 mil to Israel, 30 mil for “democratic programs” in Venezuela, 1.375 billion for the border wall, and obscene amounts of funding for missiles and military funding, that’s no relief bill. It’s US imperialism, per usual.
