I agree. Democrats walked into the 2008 election with a slim 51-49 majority in the senate and walked out with a near supermajority of 59-41. The difference this time was Schumer meddling in primaries for the benefit of his "chosen centrists." Look how that turned out.

Dems messaging: say a lot of feel good, inclusive platitudes, make massive promises with other peoples money, break those promises and prop up corps instead. Messaging isn’t the problem, following through and accountability are.

This is true but I’d say the better solution is much simpler - just prioritize actually helping working people.
