1/ I don’t doubt Biden’s good intentions or the seriousness of the new admin in trying to tackle the problems of our time. It’s not a criticism but simply a warning to say they literally do not have time to be even remotely gradual or incremental in their efforts to rescue people

2/ They won’t have the first 2 yrs to fundamentally change things; they’ll have first 100 days. He should come on with policies blazing, full FDR, quick massive relief & recovery efforts DIRECTLY TO THE PEOPLE. Repubs will hate him either way. Be FDR: “I welcome their hatred.”

well it better be a warning: they don't tackle at least some of the relevant problems & improve working class American lives & you better be sure as f***, the GOP, now drewn first autocratic blood, will come roaring back with a vengance otherwise

The statement "you don't doubt Bidens good intentions" puts you in a different category as far as being in touch with reality

Agreed. If you have a flood, you have to treat it as a flood. Gradual change is for a dripping faucet... and we are way past that.

You should doubt. That you don't is part of the problem.

After the covid crisis is when the real trouble starts with the Biden administration. He won't do anything stupid during a depression and a pandemic to jeopardize his presidency. He may likely if I'm giving him a benefit of a doubt. Come 2022, is the concern for democrats.
