1/ I don’t doubt Biden’s good intentions or the seriousness of the new admin in trying to tackle the problems of our time. It’s not a criticism but simply a warning to say they literally do not have time to be even remotely gradual or incremental in their efforts to rescue people

2/ They won’t have the first 2 yrs to fundamentally change things; they’ll have first 100 days. He should come on with policies blazing, full FDR, quick massive relief & recovery efforts DIRECTLY TO THE PEOPLE. Repubs will hate him either way. Be FDR: “I welcome their hatred.”

Trusting politicians is an oxymoron. We all see what @AOC is doing to us. None of them are going to lift a finger to point out the dems are just as corrupt as repubs. ALL OF THEM support #profitoffhumansuffering including @AOC #ForceTheVote

The fact he even has a climate team and nominated Haaland means, yes to a degree he can be pushed left. He is not where we want him to be so we myst keep imagining and pushing. No Savior of any color it is time to #SaveOurselves #EverybodyPushLeft

I do doubt his good intentions based on his past choices.

The American people are happy to perpetuate and maintain the devastating status quo, even when they suffer as a result. It’s illogical madness.

Agreed. However, I do think it’s understood that our country is in deep trouble.

Hey Marianne, what they just did is insulting, infuriating, and depressing all wrapped up in one ball of rage. A lot of people are suffering, dying actually, and millions more will be soon, and "our" government let it happen to us and isn't doing shit about it!
