1/The pandemic might end within a few months; hopefully it will. But the results of how horribly our government responded to it will be with us for years to come in the form of broken lives and human suffering that will completely overwhelm the capacity of our systems to address.

2/Everything that was already a problem, from a broken education system to homelessness to poverty, will be exponentially made worse on the other side of this, as we won't be able to absorb all the people who fell through the cracks during the pandemic.

What has @VP done as the HEAD of the #coronavirus task force? The lead person has done nothing. Pence has mostly been MIA! 馃槨#Pence300KDead Mike Pence should resign in shame.

investigations into the motives for the obvious unwillingness to act, and lie, deceive and gaslight us about statistics and actions taken should really be a no brainer for the new administration i would think. Too glaringly obvious that the administration was completely clueless.

If we help people now ... before they are evicted ... before they starve ... before they get sick ... It will save this country billions ... you can pay now to prevent a problem ... or you can pay later to fix a problem that's already happened ... and that will cost 10 times more
