I can’t figure out how anyone thinks 600 dollars is going to have more than a few days impact with purchasing of food. Wont pay rent, 6 months of electricity.... nothing of merit for the long term

are you seriously surprised? Come on, politicians have not cared about the working classes for decades. Electing DT was the outlier chance that their voices/pain would be heard. No one heard the lesson in that.
