.@SenRonJohnson is blocking stimulus checks because “he’s worried about the deficit.” What a myth that is; just political cover for greed & heartlessness. The deficit we should worry about is our deficit of compassion for those who through no fault of their own now need our help.

He’s not wrong. Time to open society back up. These stimulus checks are a slap in the face. They’re just tossing peanuts at us while corps continue to rake it in & government marches forward w/ their agenda of destroying small businesses.
