1/ There are 614 U.S. billionaires- 400 richest together have near $3.4 *trillion*. Yet we haven’t heard one multi-billionaire yet say “I’ll throw in $1 billion for a stimulus fund if some of my friends will also give $1 billion to compensate for the greed & mendacity of Congress

2/ Perhaps the “opioid rich” Sackler family could start - given how “sorry” they are and all? Then maybe “no federal taxes” Jeff Bezos would like to say a few words? It’s amazing in America today how easily we neglect the powerless and protect the powerful.

I think some billionaires threw in for notre dame no problem
Why in the name of the seven hells would ANYONE just throw away cash on imbeciles who won't take back their own lives?

Jeff Bezo‘s Ex donated that much, but it went to charities. Ea American can only benefit witi a lump sum payment, at least $25k, then $2500. Per month. Children $950. Per month. Small piecemeal paymnts are a WASTE. Can‘t make changes. @SenSanders
Pls don't hold your breath. They can't compensate for greed and mendacity bc they are responsible for greed and mendacity.

A large percentage of them are sociopaths. Like most of our elected officials, they don't give one whit about people. They're all economic terrorists, taking everything for themselves all the while believing they deserve it.

Relying on the whims of charity of a corrupt elite will never get people very far, Marianne. I think you know this.

Why not? They own more than half the country, and they’re likely to get it back when people spend money on the things which made them rich in the first place.
