1/ There are 614 U.S. billionaires- 400 richest together have near $3.4 *trillion*. Yet we haven’t heard one multi-billionaire yet say “I’ll throw in $1 billion for a stimulus fund if some of my friends will also give $1 billion to compensate for the greed & mendacity of Congress

2/ Perhaps the “opioid rich” Sackler family could start - given how “sorry” they are and all? Then maybe “no federal taxes” Jeff Bezos would like to say a few words? It’s amazing in America today how easily we neglect the powerless and protect the powerful.

That "stimulus fund" is money the American people have entrusted to the government. It does not belong to the government or any member of Congress. We are suffering and they are passing out billions to wealthy corporations and billionaires.

Clearly they don't have enough money yet for trickle down economics to function properly. Maybe in another decade or so we'll see some of that altruism we've been promised.

Even if they didn't contribute any money out of their own pocket, they could easily just make a phone call or two and substantial stimulus checks would be back on the menu.

They don’t want the people to receive stimulus checks, or an extended eviction moratorium. They want to buy up foreclosed homes for pennies on the dollar, and to rehire at a cheaper rate.
