1/ There are 614 U.S. billionaires- 400 richest together have near $3.4 *trillion*. Yet we haven’t heard one multi-billionaire yet say “I’ll throw in $1 billion for a stimulus fund if some of my friends will also give $1 billion to compensate for the greed & mendacity of Congress

2/ Perhaps the “opioid rich” Sackler family could start - given how “sorry” they are and all? Then maybe “no federal taxes” Jeff Bezos would like to say a few words? It’s amazing in America today how easily we neglect the powerless and protect the powerful.

You do know congress is breaking records in lobby money currently. Those billionaires are paying congress members for MORE money and privileges & congress members are literally raking in RECORD amounts of lobby money (both sides of the aisle) in the delaying the stimulus bill.

I haven’t heard one politician complain about receiving $7500 every two weeks as a paycheck, from the American taxpayer. I have heard them debate whether or not we’re worth a stimulus check equal to less than 10% of what they earn in monthly from us. They’re paid to well to care!

Perhaps an online campaign start w/McKenzie Scott (ex-Bezos) is world's richest woman-$67 Billion. Donated $4.2 billion this yr. She said "[I] accelerated charitable donations b/c of wrecking ball effect of the coronavirus...substantially increased the wealth of billionaires."

Why not simply ask them to do so? How about it @elonmusk your billions have increased by 39% in the past month alone. Why not give some of that to those impacted horribly by this Crisis. How about it @JeffBezos? @amazon stock is up 20,000% since inception. Why not give $10 bil?

That isn’t liquid wealth. It’s a valuation of the assets they created. That’s not money that was taken from anyone else. Also, the federal budget in 2019 was $2.7T. Those billionaires could’ve covered only 18 mo of the budget before covid if it was liquid.

“There is another way... It doesn’t have to be this way. It’s A Deficit Myth...and the real deficit is in our compassion for one another and in the use of our government to actually serve the people. Marianne Williamson #MWPodcast
