Yes, a drug we created with our own collective appetites. MSM reflects what people have been demanding for - quick, sensational, and divisive. If we learn to demand journalism then we can change things. We have to learn to empower ourselves to create the systems we want.

The media is not interested in showing us the world as it actually is - rather, they show us an ersatz world they have curated and try to convince us that its real. Thats a fundamentally distorting and ruinous labour. And i believe underpins much of the current malaise in the US.
