My concern is that people will be so relieved to see Biden become president they’ll be tempted to forget how much pain is still out there and just be excited that everything is “back to normal.” A permanent underclass will have then become a permanent class of invisible sufferers

I would think suffering people would be motivated to vote, but I suppose one could be beaten down to the point that they don’t bother. I don’t know wtf we’re going to do.

People who voted for Biden know if Mitch McConnell and Republicans control senate the possibility of Biden implementing change will be difficult to accomplish as the senate will block everything including cabinet appointments.

You're not wrong, Sis. I believe "back to normal" was the goal for the establishment. Unfortunately, "back to normal" is what gave us Trump. And so here we go, not learning from history.

The permanent underclass of invisible sufferers began long ago - the difference is that for a brief moment more began to partially see it. May we reflect on the privilege that allows us to see it as something coming rather that something that has been here for decades & beyond

Apparently you've forgotten how horrible normal was when comrade Obama and the head of the Biden crime family were in the White House.
