My concern is that people will be so relieved to see Biden become president they’ll be tempted to forget how much pain is still out there and just be excited that everything is “back to normal.” A permanent underclass will have then become a permanent class of invisible sufferers

What’s back to normal? A president who used government resources to spy on a presidential candidate’s campaign, or use the IRS to heighten scrutiny of conservatives in 2012, or maybe even bring back fast and furious and the NSA’s PRISM system? Or they can build more border cages

Oh no, not on our watch. The sickness in our country has been revealed, and more criminality will be exposed. We will not be lulled back to sleep.

No, I will continue to remember that Biden wasn’t my 1st choice or my 2nd or my 3rd. He’s a good man & we had to get out from under Trump but I remain saddened about things that won’t get done.
I don't think the growing + very vocal leftist demo will allow for this

Biden will never be president. Once the evil has been exposed of who's been running this country before Trump will leave you speechless. Good v Evil.

I like how you say what you mean, and mean what you say WITHOUT using political phrases. I don't agree with you on a lot of issues, but I sure do respect you. Your words make me think. And they make sense.

Millions of folks about to be put out in the streets via eviction. No leftist recruitment necessary to get them in the streets to protest. These politicians are the masters of unforeseen consequences. Greed being an addiction issue makes none of their decisions surprising though.

Perhaps if those with a voice used it to advocate for the “underclass” and pressure the admin, rather than divide the twitterati? I’m suspect of the super wealthy (like you) who publicly align with the underclass but do little work to change it, except sell books.

Biden will have much damage to repair from day one. He'll spend most of his time trying to figure out and undo what Trump did. Which is why we never should have let the left "both sides, but her emails" us.

I get what your saying but I doubt complacency or apathy is as prevalent when most of us do not have money for food or necessities of life. Problem is, now we are so focused on how to make it another day and it can feel hopeless. UBI could of turned that around.
