It is socialism. We currently have corporate socialism which is worse than populist socialism. But at the end of the day people don’t want to be dependent on govt.,family, friends, neighbors?Sure, we need each other. But those who seek power in centralized places are usually selfish

The fact the fire dept will come to my house if there’s a fire doesn’t mean I’m “dependent on govt.” Giving all of our money away in tax cuts & subsidies to huge corporations in the name of “not wanting to be dependent on govt” is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard of.

I appreciate you sharing this message. I have a question tho - u went the VBNMW route & voted Biden. We all knew he wouldn’t change things. Now that he’s made cabinet picks, etc, would u do it again? Things wont get better if ppl feel forced to vote for evil bc fear of other evil

Absolutely I would. They certainly wouldn’t get better by our voting Trump in for a second term.

It was a great Podcast ... thanks for the degree in Economics!

The growing lower castes of Americans have been programmed into lower expectations for decades. Visit another country and be amazed at customer service, for example. Unless you are in a higher class, then all doors begin to open without effort and you are treated humanely again.
