Or, panicked about losing one of their utilities or paying for things like toilet tissue, menstruation products, meds, gas or bus tokens to get to the store, dishwashing liquid and scouring pads, telephone service, rock salt or deicer, toothpaste, and more.

Omg it’s so awful, they are running out of food and they’re being evicted. I’m so angry this is happening, we are literally the only wealthy country to do this. This is a stain on America’s soul. Unforgivable

Yes I’ve been volunteering texting people in TX to give info about resources for help with various aspects of crises. It’s heartbreaking. (And that’s one area, the problems are everywhere though.)

But #stimuluschecknow also creates more wage deflation tomorrow. That money will just go right to corporations in the way of consumer spending making the rich richer. The bigger our national debt, the bigger wealth imbalance we create. Unintended consequences.
