I am disgusted that most of congress doesn’t blink when approving almost $800,000,000,000 for the military, but when it comes to giving back to the American People, who worked hard for their taxes, suddenly there is no money for direct payments to prevent complete devastation.

I’d be curious to see an average amount these folks have paid in federal taxes over their lifetime. My guess is that this amount could buy a whole lot of groceries.
