If the Democratic party doesn’t show more spine in the next 2 years than it has shown over the last 4 (well, 12) then we will have a catastrophic ‘22 and ‘24.

Sure there is. Notice how it’s Biden who got elected though, not Marianne or Bernie. Democracy is slow work, however much you don’t want to admit it.
Unfortunately, that’s the way our system works, otherwise we would have the healthcare, gun control, education funding, and police reform we so desparately need. I’m aware of how Biden was nominated for the Dems. Why do you think all others aside Bernie dropped out?
You’re provin’ my point. None of that will happen without Dems taking the Senate.

It is naive to think that Obama could jump to M4A from base. They used their majority and made some concessions to get Obamacare and that was hard enough. M4A?? Total non-starter.
I can agree on that. Pharma only party that wasn’t at the table.

Keep speaking the truth Marianne.

If you think the Dems are any different than the GOP when it comes to actual policy, you’re mistaken. They’re soon Neoliberals

Dems don’t care. They work for the same billionaires as GOP. We need an end around neoliberals.

Yeah, that middle ground shit is played. We need real systemic changes, socially and economically.
