If the Democratic party doesn’t show more spine in the next 2 years than it has shown over the last 4 (well, 12) then we will have a catastrophic ‘22 and ‘24.

It’s really not lack of spine that’s the problem. Just like it wasn’t the problem w/the GOP under 45 either. The problem in both instances is: they r corrupt, selfish &short sighted. We r literally, & almost w/out exception, led on both “sides” by the worst ppl in the country.

Are you saying that Obama didn’t have a backbone? He had a strong backbone but a corrupt, shady, Republican lead congress, that stopped everything he tried to change. This does not mean he had no backbone..it means GOP had issues with a “black-president”.
