If the Democratic party doesn’t show more spine in the next 2 years than it has shown over the last 4 (well, 12) then we will have a catastrophic ‘22 and ‘24.

It is not their spine that is the problem, it is their lack of compassion, empathy, & humanity. ✌💗🌍👵

“We”.? When this woman became part of the demorat party. Or she’s begging for a position as the blm “dreamers”?
How goverment works? So in the entier two years they are given, one act is okay? That how the government work? Meanwhile they pass hundreds of Bipartisan bills for big business.

Absolutely. The Placater Party is as responsible for the mess we are in as the Republicans. A party that has lacked a vision for 50 years. And Biden doesn't give me confidence that anything will fundamentally change.

Spine? Party bosses collect a lot of ducats from the feudal asset-owning, revenue-extracting superclass to keep the status quo as is. Pelosi, Hoyer, Clyburn, Neal, et al are there to block things like M4A on behalf of the party's major donors

More spine? You seem to suggest that Biden is prepared to stand up to Senate Republicans in pushing for progressive policies, like Medicare 4 all. He's not. Divided government serves Dem elites well: allow Republicans to block everything, blame them, and take the cash anyway.

If the Democratic Party doesn't take more bold, courageous and creative actions to support working class people and reverse inequalities in the next 2 years than they have over the last 40 years, then we will have a catastrophic '22 and '24.
