If the Democratic party doesn’t show more spine in the next 2 years than it has shown over the last 4 (well, 12) then we will have a catastrophic ‘22 and ‘24.

The nation is too populous and way too diverse to have only two huge parties to represent us all. Both of them are on the verge of fracturing permanently. This “good guys vs. bad guys” binary arrangement is bad for us all. Moving forward requires finding commonality for everyone.

They need to show their spine for the people they represent--not the donors who helped subsidize their campaign. Remember no matter how much money one has, it is still one vote per person. That is where the ordinary "people power" is.

We have been on an unsustainable path for almost 16 years now. If politicians like would ever read the audited financial statements of the USA you would know this. Yes, this decade is going to be bad.
